Oxford Ghost Walk Review
I liked the clever use of hand gestures and vivid description as it allowed your mind to wander into the vast stories he told and I would incorporate this into my storytelling to help engage the audience. I didn’t like the over use of props and illusions as I felt it took some of the edge away from the stories and distracted the audience. I learnt that you should provide a large range of variation in your voice to keep the audiences attention. I would incorporate the use of strong and vivid facial expressions into my storytelling to help aide the audiences’ imagination and help to create a clear and concise picture for my stories. Overall, I really enjoyed the performance and have learnt how to successfully engage an audience throughout a storywalk but I personally didn’t like the use of props and would not incorporate this into my work.
