Resident storyteller and lead artist
Over the past 40 years Dez has been a musician, a visual artist and a
storyteller. He has over twenty years experience of working in schools
and community settings and founded the museum and website in 1998.



Ali Quarréll Ali Quarréll
Storyteller/Administrator
Ali has a raft of qualications and years of experience which make her a
safe pair of hands for administering the Charity's work, but somehow she
still finds the time to bring something artistic to the mix.



Kat Quatermass Kat Quatermass
Development & Strategic Planning
Kat's experience ranges from British Museum events to the Young Vic
Theatre's audience development scheme via Building Schools for the
Future, Solihull and Wolds Words literature festival. Kat works as a
volunteer and, when funds allow, as a consultant. She also tells stories.


Hazel Adkins Hazel Adkins
Volunteer Librarian
Hazel is taking time out from a happy retirement to wrestle with
cataloguing the Society for Storytelling's Library.




Dawn Powell Dawn Powell
Storyteller/Artworker
Dawn helps organise family events at the museum and is willing to tackle
any craft activity. Her patience and enthusiasm know no bounds.




Fiona Collins Fiona Collins
Curatorial adviser
Doctor Fiona Collins, who has been a storyteller for many years,
brings her academic rigour to bear on the museum's collections
whenever we flounder.
